2、　 　join, take part in 与 attend的区别：　1. join 的主要用法如下：　　(1) 表示参加或加入某团体、党派、组织等，并成为其中的一个成员。

3、如：　　join the Party 入党    join the League 入团　　join the Army 参军   join the Trade Union 参加工会　　注：join 是终止性动词，不能与时间段状语连用。

4、如：　　他入党 10 年了。

5、　　误：He has joined the Party for 10 years.　　正：He has been in the Party for 10 years.　　正：He has been a Party member for 10 years.　　正：He joined the Party 10 years ago.　　正：It’s 10 years since he joined the Party.　　(2) 表示与某人在一起或伴随某人做某事，通常用 join sb 或 join sb in (doing) sth。

6、如：　　You go ahead. I’ll join you shortly. 你们先开始,我一会就来(一起干)。

7、　　Will you join me in a walk (in singing the song)? 同我一起去散步(一起唱歌)好吗?　　注：若表示直接参加某项活动(即不具体说出与某人在一起)，以上各句式中可以不出现 sb。

8、如：　　I joined in rowing. 我参加一起划船。

9、　　May I join in (the game)? 我可以参加(做游戏)吗?　　2. attend 表示“出席”、“参加”，主要用于参加会议等。

10、如：　　attend a meeting 参加会议   attend a lecture 参加演讲会　　attend a report 参加报告会  attend a reception 参加招待会　　注：这样用的 attend 主要指参加去听演讲或去听报告等，而不是自己做演讲或作报告等。

14、　　(2) 表示参加会议(可与 attend 互换)。
